Free cash when you shop online
Cashback shopping is fast becoming one of the best ways of generating easy, extra money online. I don't suppose a lot of people can think of anything better than gaining money back every time they shop but these type of sites make that a reality.
Cashback shopping sites operate in very much the same way a normal web advert might work. That is, you log-in to the site, after first registering for free, and then click on any product you are looking to buy through that site. This is recorded, you buy from the company linked to, that company pays the site for providing business and then the cashback site passes some of the money back on to you. However, there are some tips that you can take heed of to ensure you always get the best deal out of whatever transaction you are completing.
For one, you shouldn't just jump at the first deal that strikes you, as a little bit more research might mean you save even more. It is easy to be seduced by the "free money" mantra that cashback shopping sites live by, but do not be easily fooled by the first link that comes your way.
One other thing is to choose your site carefully. Some of these sites charge upfront to even obtain an account, and others, due to the fine margins, might institute some small print that means an initial amount of cashback you earn (say £5-10) is kept by them.
A good tip is to refer friends to the site, as if they start using it, you are often rewarded by the site for providing them with business.
Finally, the best tip of all is to just use your common sense, and always be aware that an extra bit of research might see you saving, or earning, even more money from these great cashback shopping sites.
